Volkswagen examines various aspects of corporate history in three series of publications. The “Historical Notes” series currently includes eye witness accounts of former forced laborers and publications on the post-war period as well as a chronicle which is updated annually. Scientific presentations on various themes relating to the Group’s history are published in a series entitled “Forschungen Positionen Dokumente” (FPD), while the “Volkswagen Model History” series puts the spotlight on the history of legendary Volkswagen models. All German issues of publications are available from bookshops and as downloads. Some publications of “Historical Notes” series are provided in English as well.
