Supervisory Board appoints Human Resources Director

The Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG decided in today's meeting: Dr Horst Neumann will be appointed Member of the Group Management Board with responsibility for Labour Human Resources with effect from 1.12.2005. Dr Neumann is currently a member of the Management Board of Audi AG, with responsibility for Personnel and Social Affairs.
