Audi A8 and Audi e-tron both win prestigious Awards at the Detroit Auto Show
• Detroit showcar Audi e-tron: “Best in Show”
• Audi A8 production car: “Award for Design Excellence”
Both Audi product premieres at the Detroit Auto Show, the Audi e-tron show car and the Audi A8 production car, have won prestigious Awards.
In the 2010 Editors’ Choice Awards from Autoweek magazine, the Detroit showcar Audi e-tron was given the overall “Best in Show” Award. “This was almost a unanimous decision,” said AutoWeek editor Wes Raynal. “This is a concept, yes, but we loved the car’s size and proportions.”
And the Audi A8 was given the “Award for Design Excellence” by the 2010 EyesOnDesign jury. This is the second year in a row that Audi has won the “Award for Design Excellence”, which was given to the Audi Sportback concept in 2009.
