Dr. Peter Hartz, Member of the Board of management responsible for Human Resources of Volkswagen AG, offered his resignation from the board of Volkswagen AG to the supervisory board of the company. The supervisory board has to take a decision regarding Dr. Hartz's proposed resignation.
