Volkswagen Rated as a Company with Sustainable Performance
In 2006 Volkswagen Shares Remain Included in the Sustainability Indices FTSE4Good Global and FTSE4Good Europe.
As in previous years, the London Agency EIRIS has rated Volkswagen as a company with a particularly good sustainable performance. This has enabled the Volkswagen share to qualify for the global sustainability index FTSE4Good Global plus its European counterpart, FTSE4Good Europe, and it has now been represented in these indices since 2001. The selection criteria for the FTSE4Good series cover the sectors of protection of the environment, social topics, stakeholder involvement and human rights. Volkswagen also continues to be listed in the Advanced Sustainable Performance Index (ASPI).
