Management changes at Volkswagen Navarra
Emilio Saenz (44) has been named the new chairman of the board of management and plant manager at Volkswagen Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He succeeds José-Luis Erro Basterra, who is leaving the company as planned under a retirement program. Saenz transfers from Volkswagen Autoeuropa in Portugal, where he is currently executive director.
Other managers in Pamplona also leaving the company as planned under retirement programs are Carlos Sucunza Castells, responsible for human resources, and Hermenegildo Marrodan Gimenez, responsible for logistics. Salvador Garrido Dolado (42), currently head of international assignments at Audi, will assume responsibility for human resources. No decision on a successor for the logistics division has yet been taken.
The new appointments will become effective by February 1, 2007.
