Christine Ritz new Head of Investor Relations

Christine Ritz (39) has been appointed the new Head of Investor Relations at Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft with immediate effect. She will be responsible for all finance communications within the Group and will act as the contact partner for shareholders, analysts and financial journalists. Ritz succeeds Gillian Karran-Cumberlege, who is to leave the company by mutual agreement.

 

Christine Ritz has long-standing experience in communications with international financial markets. She was spokesperson for “Verband der Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken” from 1996 to 2000 before moving to Deutsche Lufthansa AG, where she was responsible for business and financial communications. Last year, Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft successfully recruited the financial expert as the Group’s spokesperson for finance. In her new function, she will report to Stephan Grühsem, General Representative of Volkswagen AG and Head of Group Communications.
