Volkswagen of America reports slight sales rise in February 2007

The Volkswagen brand sold 16,367 vehicles in the USA in February, representing an increase of 0.2 percent compared with February 2006. At 32,977 units, deliveries for the first two months of the current year are 1.3 percent up on the same period in 2006.

The top-selling Volkswagen model in February was once again the Jetta with 6,652 vehicles delivered, followed by the Passat with 3,140 vehicles sold. New Beetle and New Beetle Cabrio sales totaled 2,398 units.
