Change in the head of management at Volkswagen Group Italia

Dr. Giuseppe Tartaglione (55) has been appointed President of Volkswagen Group Italia registered in Verona with effect from May 15, 2007. He was formerly Vice President for Sales and Marketing at SEAT. He succeeds Ralf Limbach (44), who leaves the Group by mutual arrangement. In the two years under Limbach, the market share and vehicle sales of the Volkswagen Group in Italy developed very successfully.

With Tartaglione, an Italian once again takes over the management of Volkswagen Group Italia, which is a subsidiary of Audi AG. Tartaglione holds a PhD in law and was a board member at various companies in the automotive industry, such as Magneti Marelli and Fiat Powertrain Technologies, before moving to SEAT in January 2006.
