Elke Eller to become new Board Member for Human Resources and Organisation at Financial Services AG

Elke EllerElke Eller (44) has been named as the new Member of the Board of Management with responsibility for Human Resources and Organisation at Financial Services AG, Brunswick, effective October 1, 2007. This was decided by the Supervisory Board of Financial Services AG at its meeting on Thursday.

The economist Elke Eller began her career in various posts with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Committee of the German Centre for Productivity and Innovation and the trade union for public services, transport and traffic.

In 1993, she moved to IG Metall trade union as head of the industrial policy department, specializing in the German and international automotive industry. From 2001 to 2003, she headed the policy affairs department of the 1st Chairman of IG Metall. Most recently, Ms Eller was a member of the Board of Directors of the Hans Böckler Foundation and Executive Director of the Otto Brenner Foundation.

Ms Eller has many years of experience as a Supervisory Board member of several companies in the steel and automotive industries. She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG since 2001.

Ms Eller succeeds Rolf Grönig who, as already announced, leaves the company on September 30, 2007.
