David rejoins Bentley after two years with Volkswagen of America as Vice President Marketing & Product Strategy. He originally joined Bentley eight years ago as Global Marketing Director, handling all the product planning and pre-launch marketing activity for Continental GT and Flying Spur. He then spent three years in the US overseeing the PR and Marketing launches of these new cars in Bentley’s number one export market. David has over fifteen years international experience in the automotive business in operations, strategy and communications roles working with various brands, including BMW, Land Rover, Volkswagen & Pininfarina.
David and Mike will report directly to James Rosenstein, Global Director for External Affairs, who said: "Bentley has seen a dramatic upturn in fortunes over the past few years and has ambitious plans for the future. David and Mike will help us increase recognition of Bentley, our products and technology, our history and heritage and, above all, the continuing success of our business. Together with the rest of the External Affairs team, they will help shape the company's image. It is great news that they have decided to link their future to that of Bentley".
