The Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1998. Founded in 1963, today, 1,812 employees work at the headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, manufacturing the world-famous super sports cars. Unit sales at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. amounted to 8,290 (6,333) vehicles. The increase was mainly due to high demand for the Urus. In 2019, Lamborghini upgraded its Huracán EVO Coupé and Spyder super sports cars and brought out the Aventador SVJ Roadster. In 2020 Lamborghini will bring out an upgrade of its Huracán RWD.
