Scania has been awarded a gold rating for Corporate Social Responsibility by EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings for global supply chains. EcoVadis annually evaluates more than 50,000 companies throughout world, assessing how well they integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles into their business and management systems.

“This is EcoVadis’ third annual rating of Scania and although they have continuously raised the assessment criteria, we have each year scored better and have now reached the highest level, gold,” says Sustainability Coordinator Moa Gezelius.

Scania qualified for a gold rating because our performance ranked among the top five percent of the companies which were assessed. Scania scored particularly well in the environmental performance and sustainable procurement categories, where its work was rated outstanding.
