The compact SUV class is without doubt the world's biggest market segment. It is hardly surprising that models from this segment are in great demand in fleets too. With the new ID.4, Volkswagen now presents an electric SUV which has got what it takes to become a fleet favourite – especially as it scores highly in the classic frequent driver disciplines:
- Space: Thanks to the modular electric drive matrix (MEB), the ID.4 has plenty of space inside for the driver, passengers and luggage: the luggage compartment capacity is approx. 543 up to 1,575 litres depending on the position of the rear seats.
- Power: The high-voltage battery at the bottom of the vehicle body ensures an optimum centre of gravity for a dynamic, balanced feeling when driving. The ID.4 Pro Performance sprints to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds and has a top speed limited to 160 km/h.
- Range: The entry-level ID.4 Pure model is also available throughout Europe – for a net price of under €32,311 it offers a range of up to 340 kilometres (WLTP).1)
1)Range determined on the chassis dynamometer for the version of the ID.4 Pure with optimum range (net battery energy content 52 kWh) in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). The actual WLTP range figures can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment. In practice, the actual range also varies depending on driving style, speed, use of comfort/ancillary features, ambient temperature, number of passengers/loading and topography.
