Partnership with the Dresden Music Festival

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017, the Dresden Music Festival is an amalgamation of remarkable artistic diversity. During the past decades it opened up numerous new perspective for classical music. In its orchestra, chamber music and solo concerts international stars perform along young talents classical and contemporary music, jazz as well as dance. The partnership with Volkswagen Group is a continuation of a long-lasting collaboration characterized by outstanding events like concerts by the New York Philharmonic, a revival of the ground-breaking orchestral piece entitled 'Kraft' by Magnus Lindberg, as well as concerts led by star conductor Kent Nagano. At the same time, young musicians were given new stages, for example at 'Boheme 2020', which provided a platform of expression for young artists from Europe, Asia and America.
